Drug dealer jailed for 14 years over cannabis lab blast that killed 7-year-old

Reece Galbraith, aged 33, has been sentenced to a 14-year imprisonment term at Newcastle Crown Court for manslaughter.

He was found guilty of causing a fatal house explosion that led to the death of two individuals, including a seven-year-old boy, while manufacturing cannabis 'gummies'.

The explosion caused extensive damage to the neighbourhood, leaving families without homes and prompting a significant emergency services operation.
