An experiment with 2 new cell mixes!
They all behave very similarly, but I think I have a new favourite!
It was an ambitious experiment I think, and I could have done better with the colour layering, and acrylic piping, but I think i achieved what I set out to do.

My Recipe for mixing paints is 1 part fluid paint + 4 parts Liquitex Pouring Medium + 1/3 water (ie. 30ml paint + 120ml pouring medium + 10ml water)
The tool that I am using to apply the oil mix, is just an empty pen case with a piece of cotton threaded through the middle, and fixed at the end!
I paint on HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene Sheet). 1mm thick. I have also painted on YUPO paper and ABS sheet, which both work but HIPS is my preferred ground.
My oil mix is a solvent based, clear gloss varnish (90%) + a small amount of 3-in-one oil (10%) to make it a bit runnier, although you could just use the varnish.
My swiping tools are filling knives, or filling knives with a piece of HIPS attached.
