Project Renaissance is a reimagination of the N64 stick aimed to N64 enthusiasts. It fixes many problems the community has been facing over the years - loose controllers, lack of stock, and hit or miss results with replacement parts. RockerGaming, the main face behind this project, sent me a package to try out and share my thoughts. I've been using metal parts on my controllers since 2017, and I'll always recommend N64 fans to get at least a steel bowl for their favourite controller(s), as it's an incredible quality of life improvement that will maintain your stick in shape for a very, very long time.

Notes:
I forgot to cover some things in the review, as I did this with no script or anything, these things happen. Here's some extra details:

As shown in the installation timelapse, the stick will come with extra caps and a M2 to M3 kit. The Project Renaissance caps use M2 screws, while SteelSticks64 and others use M3. This conversion kit is used to switch the M2 screw to M3 so older caps are compatible with Project Renaissance.

It is recommended to lubricate the bowl, stick and other points of contact with Super Lube or similar every few months of use or whenever you feel that it's starting to lose its usual smoothness. Steel parts should always be lubricated before use to ensure the best performance and minimal decay, and it's still recommended to lubricate OEM parts.

If you're replacing a good condition OEM module, make sure to save the parts and keep them as spares! They can be used to repair other controllers or to swap it in the future if you wanted to revert back for some reason.

►Kitsch-Bent sadly had to increase prices recently. Honestly, I'm not sure if it's worth it any more as it's a gamble many times. You have to buy in bulk as you may get faulty parts, and they always require manual detailing to get rid of "flash".
►N64Gears, I have no personal experience with, however all the reviews I've seen of them are good and a really good alternative to OEM gears.
