Episode Notes:

TAPESTRY OF GRACE

“We are weaving the tapestry that we will wear throughout eternity, a thread each day.” –Clarence Anderson.

When Jesus was falsely accused, He said nothing… This is grace.

When we see an error in our brother, we pray for him and keep silent… This is grace.

When we are misunderstood, we do not need to justify ourselves or try to explain… This is grace.

When criticized for being too righteous by someone whose spirit is sour, we remain silent… This is grace.

When David was accused, he meditated on God’s Word… This is grace.

When weary of bearing burdens, we do not murmur or complain… This is grace.

When we pardon without bitterness, often for something we did not do… This is grace.

When we feel coldness from our brothers, yet we remain warm to them with God’s love… This is grace.

If we suffer quietly with Jesus, we will reign with Jesus with His grace.

When discouraged, grace keeps us from fainting.

God helps us to forget without harboring malice.

Grace is tied to mercy, a savour of endurance, patience, faith, the results of God’s favor upon one, to bear the difficult, bear the cross, take the beatings quietly.

It is one of the greatest marks of Jesus, and one of the hardest to acquire… It goes so contrary to human nature.

David and Marty both grew up going to meetings, (know as the friends and workers, the way, the truth, the fellowship, etc... outside the group they are know as the 2x2s because their ministers or "workers" go out in pairs) This podcast is to discuss topics related to the group and if scripture backs it up or not.

The overall intent is to be a blessing to people, to shine the light of Christ - to point people to Him, to point people to the word, and ultimately be used to the glory of God.
