Astrobrite is an American shoegaze project founded by Scott Cortez in 1993. Known for its intensely layered, loud, and dreamy sound, Astrobrite's music gleefully pushes the genre's sonic boundaries to their extremes in a haze of noise and melody. Their live performances are driven by a signature blend of sonic intensity– pop songs and lullabies over a jet engine.
