Can NATO stop the U.S. from annexing a country?

It’s not just Canada that U.S. President Donald Trump has said that he wants to take over, its also Greenland which is a territory of Denmark. And all three countries: Canada, the U.S., and Denmark are members of NATO – the military and diplomatic alliance that was established during the Cold War to protect the allied countries from the Soviet Union. Now, the political calculus has shifted, so what role if any can NATO play in the new geopolitical landscape? Professor Jane Boulden from Queen’s University & the Royal Military College of Canada and former ambassador & Western fellow Sabine Nölke explain more.
