This time Haruka Styles visits " GRANXIA Beppu Kannawa", the first ‘glamping’ facility in Kyushu complete hot spring and ‘hell steaming’ in every room.

Opened in April 2021, GRANXIA Beppu Kannawa is a private luxury camping facility. The dome tents are placed far enough apart from the other tents so that you can enjoy luxury camping in a private space. The large dome tents can accommodate up to 10 people and there are also other exciting features. They even have a tent you can stay with your beloved pup!

Each room is equipped with its own hot spring bath to help you make the most of Beppu's hot spring resort location. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Beppu and the famous Kannawa Onsen hot spring water from a private source on the premises at your own pace.

You can also have a go at barbecuing, with Oita Prefecture's Wagyu beef and fresh seafood, as well as the unique "Jigoku-mushi (hell steaming)" of the hot spring resort of Beppu!

From the site, you can see the iconic mountain of Beppu, the beloved Ougisan (Mt. Ogisan), the famous Yufudake (Mt. Yufu) and Tsurumidake (Mt. Tsurumi), and you can also enjoy the "Beppu Hell Tour" on foot. This tour, which is just a short walk away, will take you to see the seven different sources of hot mud and fumes spewing from deep within the earth. Four of these are designated as national scenic beauty spots, including "Umi-Jigoku (Sea Hell)" with its cool, natural cobalt-blue beauty and "Blood Pond Hell", which is tinged red.

GRANXIA Beppu Kannawa is the perfect base from which to explore Beppu and enjoy the city in a new way.
