We've powered up the car, installed all the shiny new REVO parts and dyno tested at a respectable 380hp. Big brake kit, lightweight wheels shod with Pilot Cup 2 tyres - all that is left is to get a feel for the car on track.

We bring the car to our other favourite track - Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium and put it up directly against a stock Golf R to see what the difference is... So far!

The weather may not have played ball this time, but it only makes us more keen to see what the car can do in the dry. What's the next step for 2022? Suspension and fine tuning the setup to make this car a true track weapon.
