She abandons everything and leaves with a bag and her book, the only thing left to her from a career as a decorator that she sacrificed to her life as a housewife. But under the influence of emotion, she forgets the book at a bus stop, near Stéphane who picks it up. Stéphane is also stunned to have found Carole, his mistress whom he was visiting, in the company of a man. Lisa is looking for a job, but she can't help but come back to her old address. There she meets Stéphane, who has come to bring back the book. Subsequently, Stéphane meets Lisa by chance who has come to dine in the same restaurant. And it's ultimately an excellent evening that they spend together. They then decide that they will remain friends. But Danièle's lover, Lisa's sister, decides to intrude. Lisa, unable to find a free room in a hotel, is forced to immediately put their friendship to the test by asking Stéphane for hospitality. They put things straight. Since it is only a matter of friendship between them, the rules of cohabitation are easy to establish. But they will not be so easy to respect…
