However what is for certain, is the 'super rich' generally pay lower taxes by percentage than other americans. The Income Tax, which most of the United States workforce pays in to, is significantly higher than capital gains. People in a low incomes bracket don't even pay tax on their capital gains. It's 0% if you make under $36,000 in income a year.
