Fashion’s biggest night brought out all the glitz and glam to a gloomy New York City! On Monday, May 5, A-listers flocked to the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the annual Met Gala where they showed off their iconic outfits on the red carpet. This year’s theme was “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” and its co-chairs included A$AP Rocky, Lewis Hamilton, Pharell Williams, Colman Domingo, and, of course, Anna Wintour. After posing on the Met steps, celebrities made their way into the museum where they enjoyed dinner and live entertainment. In fact, not only did four of the co-chairs address the audience, but Colman Domingo also appeared to give a reading followed by both Usher’s and Stevie Wonder’s performances. The “Yeah!” singer was also photographed feeding Sabrina Carpenter a cherry. Plus, pictures from inside the event showed stars, such as Kerry Washington, Demi Moore, and Zoe Saldaña, mingling and snapping selfies. A sweet moment of Stella McCartney kissing Rihanna’s belly after the pop star revealed her third pregnancy was also captured. Additionally, many A-list couples, like Dua Lipa and Callum Turner, posed for sweet pictures together. Despite a “no phones” rule, Megan Thee Stallion also gave fans a sneak peek of the food at the met as she recorded herself, Angel Reese, and Doechii tasting the hors d'oeuvres.
