トップアタック可能な米陸軍のスマート対戦車地雷XM204

Textron Systems Corporation, a subsidiary of Textron Inc., a major American defense contractor, announced that its XM204 top attack munition, an anti-vehicle terrain-shaping system, has successfully completed initial product testing led by the U.S. Army. The XM204 is positioned as a next-generation anti-tank mine that attacks the vulnerable upper part of a tank's turret.

On April 29, Textron Systems announced that the U.S. Army-led initial testing of the XM204 top attack munition under a Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) contract at the Yuma Proving Ground in Arizona was successfully completed. This important milestone demonstrates that the system is ready for production and delivery to the U.S. Army and its allies, and has been approved for mass production.
