I boarded the Taiheiyo ferry "Ishikari," which runs from Nagoya Port in Aichi Prefecture to Tomakomai West Port in Hokkaido.

"Ishikari" is about 200 meters long, 27 meters wide, and has a maximum speed of 26.50 knots.

This route takes about 40 hours, making it the longest ferry route in Japan. The voyage distance is about 1,330 km.

This time, I stayed in a first-class Japanese-Western room with twin beds, and it was a relaxing trip even for a long time.

The ferry has facilities such as a restaurant, a large bath, massage machines, a game corner, a shop, and a band playing in the lounge, so you can enjoy it even for a long time.

We were blessed with good weather during the voyage, so we were able to see the sunrise and the sister ship "Kiso" passing by!

When we disembarked at Sendai Port, we had dinner at a yakiniku restaurant, and after arriving in Tomakomai, we had a hearty seafood bowl at the popular local restaurant "Marutoma Shokudo."
