Visited the Tower Records Where Dave Grohl Used to Work

In this episode we visit the CVS Pharmacy at 2000 Pennsylvania avenue in Washington DC. Twenty five years ago this was a branch of the legendary music store Tower Records and in fact, it is the former work place of rock star Dave Grohl, former drummer for Nirvana and now front man of the Foo Fighters.
Tower Records had it's peak at around 1999 when sales around the world totalled about 6 billion dollars.
But declining sales and increased popularity of online sales and digital music spelled it's doom and Tower Records declared bankruptcy and went out of business in 2003.
