This might be a bit of an odd one but I really wanted to give this a go! Over the course of playing games in my life, I've noticed that the Bonus music from Yoshi's Island, Merry-Go-Round from Super Mario 64 and Music Box House from The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask sound so similar to each other that I wanted to make a Medley out of it to see how it would go. After transcribing all of them, I couldn't help but notice that all of these are pretty much the same song haha. They use the same chords and similar chord progressions, they all use triplet notes depending on what tempo you play it in and while the tempos aren't exactly the same, they're not too far off from each other. I guess Koji Kondo just liked this chord progression so much that he decided to make 3 songs out of it and use it in 3 different games or something haha. I also never put together how similar the Shop music from Final Fantasy 1 is compared to the Music Box House song and that blew my mind lol. All of these games hold a special place in my heart and I hope you'll enjoy this Guitar Medley! :)
