On this Fixit Fingers Quick Fix, I'll show you how to #DIY install standard window #blinds that have brackets to be mounted to the window box. Block out, vertical blinds, Venetian blinds, most will follow these basic steps. Hit me up if yours are different and I'll see if I can assist. All in all if you are lucky this should only take 15 minutes or so, a little longer if you need to adjust the spacings.

Our building is solid 1970s brick and we recently replaced the 50-year-old windows with nice new ones. This meant I needed to remove and re-install dozens of various window blinds throughout the building. Some were easy, some were tricky, so I'll throw in a few tips on how I get around some of the issues that arose.
