Krotos recently released an update to their real-time sound design platform, Krotos Studio. The latest update brings a significant new feature which allows music to be easily tailored and adapted to fit the needs of a video editor.
The music feature in Krotos Studio adds 13 customisable, royalty-free tracks which can be manipulated on the fly to adjust the instrumentation and intensity of the piece. For video projects requiring music to fit the pacing of the edit while appropriately sitting around dialogue, this is a feature many will welcome.
Krotos Studio users can create a customised track that matches their edit perfectly using the controls in the XY area of the software and additional buttons specific to each selected piece of music. Music continues to play indefinitely, meaning a specific track duration never constrains you. The music can be tailored to cover the length of the edit.
