حاشاك لم تنطِقْ بديْنِكَ عن هوى
Far be it from you that you utter your religion on [your own] inclination.

‏أبداً وما كذب الفؤاد وما غوى
Never .. and heart has never lies and debauch

‏صلى عليك الله ما غيثٌ همى
May Allah's blessings be upon you like the rain when it came down

‏في هذه الدنيا وما نجمٌ هوى
On this world, and in stars when they descends

‏يا من بُعثْت مُطبِّباً ومواسياً
Oh you who Allah sent him to heal and console us

‏ومبشّراً ممن على العرش استوى
and a bringer of good tiding from the one who is above the Throne established (Allah)

‏وتلوتَ قُرآناً ونهراً جارياً
And you recited the Holy Qur’an as if it was a flowing river
‏
ما جاءَهُ الظّمآنُ إلا وارْتوى !
No one thirsty drink from it without quenching his thirst

‏في وحيِكَ الهدَيُ الذي يعْشو له
In the revelation with which you have sent the guidance that

‏مَن خاف من رب البرايا وارْعوى
submits to him who fears and obeys Allah

‏ويمدُّ أجْنحة السعادةِ والهَناءْ
And you extend the wings of happiness and satisfaction

‏ما ضاقَ من أمْرِ الخليقةِ والْتوى
To those who are narrowed and difficult circumstances

‏طابت بك الأيامُ يا نور الدّجى
Days have gone beautifully with you O you who is the light of the darkness ( Muhammad ) PBUH

‏وسَمَتْ بك الأرواحُ والحُزْنُ انْطوى
By you, souls have become at the top, and the sadness disappeared

‏صلى عليك اللهُ يا مَنْ حُبّهُ
May Allah bless you, O you whose love

‏يشفي جراحات الصّبابة والجَوى !
heals the wounds of longing and and sadness
