Ristar (Sega Mega Drive/Genesis) - Gameplay Demonstration

Ristar is a game I didn't played that much back then. Still an interesting concept. Oh, speaking of concept...
Sega's old mascot, Alex Kidd, wasn't doing much. They wanted something else to go against Nintendo's Mario. So, a contest was made. Several ideas were presented, and Sonic (Mr. Needlemouse as he was called) won. However, one of the earlier designs was a rabbit that could stretch its ears to grab and throw objects. This was later changed to a star with stretchy arms. And thus, Ristar was born.
In this video, I play the first level (3 acts) to show you how the game plays and looks. Since I have no plans for full playthrough.
