2021年3月、ホルヘ・セルダが危険な状態で銃を所持しているとの家族からの通報を受け、SWATとロサンゼルス市警察が出動しました。
約4時間に及ぶ説得交渉が行われましたが応じず、催涙ガス使用後にSWAT隊員のロドニーが顔面に被弾する事態となりました。
