I'm Yogetsu Akasaka, a Japanese Zen Buddhist priest and musician. I create music for inner journey. meditative experiences and inner journeys that lead to profound transformation.　

Many people find it challenging to sit in silence without guidance, and I've received much feedback that my music can be a helpful tool for meditation. This inspired me to focus deeply on crafting frequencies that help listeners reach a mindful, introspective state.

As you’ll see in the opening of this video, I also explore a harder techno direction, combining beatboxing and synth-like vocal sounds to invite movement and dance. This approach allows for a meditative experience through dance, creating a space for true letting go.

This video was filmed at the Colours of Ostrava festival in the Czech Republic, where artists like Sam Smith, Lenny Kravitz, and James Blake headlined.

In our modern society, the “monkey mind” often distracts us. I aim to create music that helps people experience a mindful state and relax, but my deeper purpose goes beyond mindfulness and relaxation.

ビートボックスやエフェクトをかけたシンセボイスでハードテクノ的な方向へ持っていくことも、皆さんがそれに合わせて身体を動かす、踊ることで表現される自己を通して感情を解放し、今まで気づかなかった自分自身の一面や、忘れていた自分を再発見することで、皆さん自身のよりよい人生を創造するインスピレーションとしていただければ幸いです。
