Stella's amazing wish to be a vet for a day

Back in 2018, when we granted Stella's wish to be a guide dog trainer and vet for the day. She was born with a rare condition called NF1, and was introduced to Rays of Sunshine after having her first operation.

Stella got to meet plenty of animals on her special wish, thanks to Battersea and Guide Dogs Maidstone, and even got to teach some guide dogs-in-training some new tricks!

Now 11-years-old, Stella is fundraising so that other children with serious illnesses can have a wish like she did.

Stella cut 23 inches of her hair in an incredible effort and has raised over £1,500 so far.
