I wanted something with a solid front axle, nice interior, and midsize, which pretty much narrows it down to Grand Cherokee, Land Rover Discovery and Toyota/Lexus Land Cruiser. Land Cruisers are still too much money and Land Rovers are rumored to be even more unreliable than the Jeep.
