Farmer George received a nice surprise in the mail from Rob Blumberg in the form of some hot pepper powder made from 15+ SUPER HOT pepper varieties including the Carolina Reaper and others from the hottest in the world list. He decided it was a good idea to make a dry rub and take the Lava Dust powder to the test!!

See if he can tackle 12 wings in 6 minutes...!

Here's the tasty recipe:

12 wings - raw
1/4 tsp of garlic powder
1/2 tsp of onion
2 TBS olive oil
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
1 TBS brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp of LAVA DUST (or any chili powder of your liking)
Salt and pepper to season wings and a dash of each in the rub

Preheat oven to 425F or 220C
Heat olive oil on high until hot (not smoking)
Reduce heat to medium and place wings skin-side down in large walled pan or Dutch oven
Brown wings until crispy - about 6 min
Turn wings and cook for about 2 more min
Remove from oven and place on cookie tray, skin side up, and place in oven for 10 minutes
Combine all rub ingredients in large plastic bag, drop wings in after cooling for about 20 minutes outside of the oven and shake bag
