On April 4th, 2019, Stockton Firefighters responded to a Working Structure Fire on Hogue. Engine 6 arrived first on scene to a single story, single family dwelling; with fire showing from a back bedroom. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire quickly and without incident.

This video capture is from the exterior of the fire, as a 4th-Due Engine Firefighter does his job to 'soften the building' and throw ladders. His job is neither the primary fuction, nor life-or-death; but he does it effeciently and with urgency. Firefighters on scene extinguished the fire within 15 minutes of the initial 9-1-1 call (including response time).

There is nothing particularly ground-breaking in this video, but you may notice how calm the radio traffic is, how little communication is needed between firefighters (and how well they work together), and how quickly the fire was extinguished. This is the work of professionals, doing their job, practicing their craft.
